Tier 2 · Standard

Monitoring, plus feeding the palm

Standard is for mid-value palms. It is everything in Monitor, plus slow-release palm fertilization (real palm nutrition, not shrub feed) and as-needed treatment of issues found. Monitoring tells us what the palm is short on. Standard does something about it.

What Standard looks like

The same foxtail palm, 11 months apart.

February 2024, then January 2025, on a steady soil and nutrition program. Results like this can show in 3 months. Extreme deficiencies can take 3 years. No program can promise a recovery.

Why mid-value palms earn nutrition

Palms cannot store nutrients the way trees do, and Florida's sandy, alkaline soil leaches and locks up what they need. A palm that is only watched will keep declining if the underlying problem is nutritional. Standard adds a feeding program built for the deficiencies the monitoring actually finds, so a Fair palm has a path back to Normal rather than a slow slide to Poor.

Who it is for

The default for mid-value palms such as Foxtail, Royal, and Alexander. These are worth feeding and protecting, but they are not in the same high-value, disease-susceptible class that earns the full Advanced program.

What is included
✓ Everything in Monitor
✓ Slow-release palm fertilization (real palm nutrition, not shrub feed)
✓ Full inspection and a photo of every palm, each visit
✓ As-needed treatment of issues found
Cadence: 4 times a year for commercial and HOA. 6 times a year for residential.
We feed before we ever consider injecting
Standard leads with nutrition and the right tool for the threat, confirmed by what the field data shows. We do not blanket-inject palms. The condition rating from each visit drives what the nutrition program targets. See how we rate a palm.
