The floor. If you do nothing else, do this.
Monitor is the minimum every community should have: a visual inspection of your palms and trees by trained eyes, 4 times a year for communities and 6 for homes, looking for threats and issues, and early flags before a problem becomes a loss. It is the floor that catches a problem while it can still be managed.

What Monitor looks like
Trained eyes on every palm and tree, every quarter.
Someone is looking after your palms and trees. Every visit is a visual inspection for threats and issues, with photos taken where they help. When something shows up, we call for lab testing or a mitigation response, and anything worth watching goes on the watchlist.
Why monitoring is the floor, not the budget option
Most communities run on the do-nothing default: no one is watching the palms until one is clearly failing, and by then the correctable window has often closed. Monitoring replaces that. You cannot manage what no one is watching, so trained eyes on the canopy every quarter is the floor of proactive care. It is also the layer that tells us when a palm needs to move up a tier, and when it does not.
Who it is for
The default for resilient palms like Sabal, and for any community with nothing in place today. A high-value Sabal in a signature spot can be elevated to Advanced, but Monitor is where every palm and every property should at least start.
Compare the tiers
Every palm enters at Monitor. The arborist raises it from there.
