As Managing Partner at Ptolemy, he is committed to raising industry standards through proactive programs, long-term strategies, and a focus on resilience. His leadership has earned recognition across the industry and in the media for reshaping modern tree and palm health care.
Jeff is an ISA Certified Arborist, TRAQ Qualified, and a Certified Landscape Inspector, credentials that reinforce his commitment to excellence and professionalism.

Founder
Ed Kaulbars is the Founder of Ptolemy Inc. and a Master Certified Arborist with over 3 decades of experience in the tree and landscape industry. He was among the first to recognize the need for a proactive approach to tree and palm health, setting the vision that continues to guide Ptolemy today.
Ed is also a Licensed Pest Control Operator and a proud member of ISA, TCIA, and the International Palm Society.
Commitment to Learning & Educating
Collecting data on 1000s of trees allows us to see patterns of distressed and effectiveness of treatment options. We strive to continue to learn about trees health. We attend seminars, and are constantly reviewing newly published information on tree health, pest and disease. We will be your first line of defense and best resource in the event of newly discovered pests and disease outbreaks.
